Kynetec is proud to announce that we have made a donation to SPANA, an organization whose mission is to improve the welfare of working animals in the world's poorest communities, who rely heavily on their animals to work in fields and transport goods to people. Established in 1923, SPANA focuses its efforts in three key areas: 1) providing free treatment to working animals; 2) training vets and promoting humane care by animal owners; and 3) teaching children respect and compassion toward animals.
Specifically, our donation will sponsor 10 veterinarians to attend a 3-day training congress to build knowledge, skills and expertise with SPANA's overseas veterinary training teams, thus improving the level of care they can provide to sick and injured working animals.
"We are honoured to be able to support SPANA's mission," said Stephen Hearn, Kynetec CEO. "With our sponsorship of SPANA and the training congress, we are making a difference in the lives of these animals and the communities they serve."
